In preparation for the upcoming administering of the Smarter Balanced interim assessments in English Language Acquisition (ELA) and Mathematics at Claude O. Markoe Elementary School, parents of 3rd to 6th graders are invited to a Smarter Balanced Overview session on Thursday, November 12, 2015.
The overview will provide parents with insight into how Smarter Balanced will assess students’ mastery of skills in ELA and Math, resources available, access to the practice test and more.
Parents may attend the Smarter Balanced Overview on Thursday, November 12 according to the following schedule:
3rd grade: Thursday, November 12, 2015-8:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
4th grade: Thursday, November 12, 2015-10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
5th grade: Thursday, November 12, 2015-1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
6th grade: Thursday, November 12, 2015 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
