Henderson School Career Extravaganza Honors Alvin Gee

The Alexander Henderson School ‘Sharks Rule Career Day Extravaganza’ -- a tribute to late news man Alvin G. Southwell, also known as, Alvin Gee—will feature St. Croix Reggae Artist Mada Nile and a host of professionals in the public and private sector on Friday, November 20, 2015.

 

The Extravaganza begins at 8:00 a.m. in the school’s auditorium with a brief assembly. Directly following the gathering, invited guests will head to classrooms and other sites to make presentations to students on their respective career fields. “I am so delighted that we have 30 presenters from all walks of life coming to our Career Day Extravaganza,” said Ilma Rodgers-Francis, Intermediate Guidance Counselor and organizer of the event. “Mada Nile will be singing her profound song, I Would Like To See. She is a positive reggae artist who has given so much to our community, especially the youths of the Virgin Islands and I would like to express a heartfelt gratitude to her.”
